I think there is a conspiracy. I think somehow newborn babies in the nursery at the hospital talk to each other and share tips.

“Dude, what you do, is wait until your mom finishes getting the clean diaper on you. Then, let ‘er rip. It’s a hoot!”

Our baby arrived!

Ethan Gabriel was born May 3rd at 3:50 AM, 8 pounds 5 ounces. Everyone is healthy and doing great. We’ve been home since Friday. My mom is staying with us right now while a vacation renter is in her house, before she heads back to where my dad is. Kiddo is adjusting well and is kind of fascinated by the baby, loves giving him kisses. I feel fantastic – recovery is going really well, which I’m eternally grateful for.
